What an amazing time I had with team AWESOME.
I joined the Lifeskills programme here at Scripture Union . And I enjoyed my time with them. God knew my heart, he knew that I wanted to not just be around but I wanted to do something that is my passion and something I do to my fullest ability. I was asked if I would like to work under/with a staff worker and with out thinking twice about it, I said yes!
I started working with some Super cool people. I worked under a guy called Sedrico and his team. They are AYOBA. I went with them to a school that they were working at and they were busy with the washing of the feet and it was so amazing to see how the learners re-acted, and won of the children said that she felt good when she washed her friends feet and it made her come out of her comfort zone, and I really learned from what I heard because it made me realize bout things, and just the fact that they see things different to how we see things.
We started planning for our other schools and we got a role to do. I got the opportunity to do the assembly’s and it was so a great opportunity because that’s one of the things I do well. You know if I have to do it alone wow I would take the opportunity with two hands. We went to two other schools that I really saw a need for love and its so good to see them just clinging to you, and I’m not talking about the grade 1-4 but the seniors of the primary schools witch is grade 6-7. And my pray is that they would see us as role model’s.
In conclusion I have seen the need for love. As God says in his word that we should love one another as I loved you and buy this way people will see that you are my disciples. So lets show the love that God has for us and let us be a living asset to those in need…
CONSIDER OTHERS BETTER THAN YOURSELF.
